This fine 1858 engraving was published in the Het Koningrijk der Nederlanden collection by J.L. Terwen and engraved by Albert Henry Payne after a painting by William Henry Barlett.
Johannes Leonardus Terwen (1813 – 1873) was a Dutch writer. He wrote several books on the history and topography of the Netherlands, of which Het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden is one of the most important.
