Dirk van Oosterhoudt drew and painted Italianate landscapes, animal and figure representations and portraits. In 1818, he received an incentive bonus of ten ducats from the Dutch Household Society for his work.
This work is included in the collection of the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, among others.
