Pierre Alexandre Tardieu (1711 – 1771) was a French engraver and cartographer and the nephew of Nicolas-Henri Tardieu. Nicolas-Henry was King Louis XV’s royal engraver, and from his uncle Pierre learned the craft of engraving.
He has produced many historical and genre works, including flora.
