Modern art is a dynamic and versatile movement that is constantly exploring new forms and techniques. The various printing techniques of modern art have and still do offer artists a wide range of possibilities. Screen printing is a widely used method in modern art, which allows vibrant colours and sharp lines to be printed on a variety of materials. Lithography, another popular technique in modern art, uses the principle that water and grease repel each other, creating subtle colour transitions and fine details. Within modern art, artists experiment with colour, form and material to push boundaries and discover new expressions.
